Featuring Another Baby Boomer Blogger’s Collection of 50s, 60s, & 70s Music Videos

Welcome! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed so you won't miss the Blarties (=blog+party) on the weekends. To find out more about our Blarties check out this post, too. Looking forward to seeing you on the weekends!

Now that I finally have a weekend with a little bit of downtime I’m able to take a close look at those linking to the BB’s News, Reviews, and Observations recently. Glad I did or I would’ve missed out a little longer on A Baby Boomer’s Music Video Blog which is..

…a hobbyist’s collection of favorite video clips from YouTube and is intended as a tribute to the great artists of the 50s, 60s and 70s that defined the music of a whole generation…

Right now I’m listening to a couple of Johnny Rivers videos posted there today. Secret Agent Man…oh the memories that one evokes. Scrolling through all the titles to the videos as I listen to Johnny, and…

Oh my! What a find! What a memory Chicago’s Color My World evokes! That memory is of my EX swooning all the females in his little black book with, “That’s OUR song.” when the local DJ would spin the vinyl at just the right moment. Imagine the surprise when several of us discovered we ALL shared the same “our song”…LOL!

He’s Mr. Memphis and he approved that statement. ;-)

Anyway, why not click on over to A Baby Boomer’s Music Video Blog and see what you find among the videos of music from Chicago, The Bee Gees, Marvin Gay, James Taylor, Carole King, Bobby Vinton, Johnny Mathis, Dave Clark 5, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Shirelles, Gary Lewis and the Playboys and many others that evoke lots of memories for you!

Memory of lost friend prompts hunt for high school yearbook

Did you lose your high school yearbook and long to have it back? Seems to be the type of problem that wouldn’t easily be solved considering it’s not exactly the type of book that would be reprinted numerous times.

Ahhh, but there’s still a possibility you can get your hands on another one. Even if you can’t gain possession of another copy of the long lost yearbook, you may still be able to access one and acquire copies of pictures and other memories within it most treasured to you.

Dear Abby had quite a few responses to a request for information on how to acquire another copy of a yearbook. She shares her readers’ responses and suggestions for locating another copy in her column for December 6, 2007.

Wishing you the best of luck finding yours!
