  1. Geez … you dig slapstick COMEDY?!?! Hope, you’ve got a friend for LIFE!! I once had 138 VCR tapes of The Three Stooges (my kids and I LOVED those guys). My ex took them and stomped them to death after our divorce.
My fave today is Whose Line Is It Anyway?

You are, without a doubt, one of the most talented and interesting people I’ve MET (webside or otherwise!), and automatic SUNSHINE!
Now, since I’m neck-deep in work at the mo, I’ll write more later!

    Relic

(… and CHEESECAKE?!? You ARE a gem!!)

  2. Hey Relic. Actually my rants and raves are things that annoy me. I never really thought of the Three Stooges as slap-stick? I rather enjoyed them and Laurel & Hardy.

First thing that comes to mind (slap-stick)is the movie “Airplane”, with Leslie Nelson. But that’s okay if you digg Slap-Stick. this world would be a boring place if we all thought alike.

I appreciate the compliment (interesting). Thank you and sorry about tapes, LOL.

  3. Oh, we do have so much in common! I have just begun to surf around your place, it’s very interesting and I cannot wait to see what it’s all about. Thank you for stopping by and for the lovely comments! Our movie tastes are parallel so now I feel like I have to see Coyote Ugly because you like it so much and I have never seen it! I’ll have to get on that right away!

  4. Hey Bella, glad you stopped by, and thanks for for sharing your thoughts. I do like Coyote Ugly. After I saw it for the first time, I said that’s what I wanna be when I grow up, a Coyote! LOL. I hope you enjoy the Movie too.

  5. OUCH!!! I just re-re-re-re-read (no, I’m NOT stuttering!! I’ve just READ it a lot of times!) your post, Hope. And AIRPLANE?!? “Altogether”? “He’s in the hospital? What IS it?” Are you KIDDING?? One of my all-time FAVORITES!! Got the names of MOST of the stars, but one thing eludes me: Who played the part of the inflatable female doll at the LAST?!? :)
It was all worth it to see Lloyd Bridges upside-down on a contact-high.
“Slap-stick” is actually “any intentional physical action that causes one to laugh” (such as Moe’s eye-poking of Curly, Shemp’s touching an iron to see if it’s hot, me waking up in the morning. [I’m the only human here, but the CATS get a hoot out of it, I’m sure!]).
Love reading your posts, young’un! You’re as good a writer as I’m sure you are a COOK!
Incidentally … I’ve never TRIED artichokes. What are they like, taste-wise? Anything like …
    …grits? (okay, it’s a running gag. Sorry …)

  6. Inflatable Doll, Relic?? You got me…at the last…I guess that’s why, I couldn’t watch for very long. LOL.

Waking up..cats get a hoot…LOL…I guess I’m not a fan of “slap-stick’ because it is intentional. Too staged, or planned out, it’s not as funny to me when I see it coming? I’m glad you enjoy it(slap-stick), that’s Cool.

Glad you enjoy the posts too. Thanks for the compliment….no, nothing like Grits. LOL.

  8. Hey!, I saw saw Bucket List myself Sunday. The beginning was depressing to me, the ending was Sad, but the middle was good. Yeah, I’m anxious to see Fools Gold myself, the previews looked really good, and I like Matt. Thanks for sharing your comments.
