Ok, ok! I’ve got St. Louis on my mind. Goin’ there in a couple of weeks to celebrate the 1st BD of grandchild #7…she’s SUCH a teeny, tiny, lil cutie!!! Can’t WAIT to see her and the other grandkids! Ok, back to tha Blues…

Ohhhhhhhh mah GOSH!!! YOU are a SMART man, Sixty! Memphis ABSOLUTELY has THE best Bar-b-q with a capital “B”, Baby!
I lived in Kansas City, MO for a few yrs in the mid-90’s. First time I had “bar-b-q” I said, “THAT ain’t bbq!! That’s just sliced beef on a bun with a lil sauce poured on it! Why ain’t the coleslaw ON the sandwich?!”
Gimme a big ole heaped, juicy and drippin’ pulled pork bbq (that’s been SOAKED in the bbq sauce) sandwich with the coleslaw ON it & oozin’ out the sides, fried taters, bbq baked beans with some brown sugah in ‘em, an’ a GREAT big COKE (it AIN’T soda or pop in Mphs)! ALL “cold dranks” aka “soft drinks” are COKE in Mphs. You gotta tell ‘em what KIND of coke you want…Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Sprite…which one?
