Relic, LOL! I can't believe he didn't recognize Hillbilly Cat! WHAT?! Beatles lunch box and YOU passed it up?!

Oh, Hope, don't feel bad. I let my girls have my ORIGINAL Barbie, Midge, and the two little sisters (forget their names...Skipper and what?) and all the Barbie clothes my Mom handmade when they were just 2 and 4. If only I had known, too,...God rest their poor headless souls. :-(

Hey Cleochatra, your welcome and thanks for stopping by and dropping me a line..I hope you enjoy the pinwheels. I like to pack 'em up for road trips too.

Yeah, I can see being a fan of cool lunch boxes. I saw some really cool, and really expensive ones over on ebay. There was a 1954 Superman Lunch Box someone was asking $3,500.00 for, but there no bids.

BB, I can relate to the lunchboxes: Years ago, when my sons were miniatures (today, they're grown and in the Navy), I went to downtown Pineville (NC) to get a coupla those infamous "bookbags" for them.
At an antique store, they'd just brought out a nearly-mint-condition 1964 Beatles lunchbox and priced it for (ready??) $10.00 (the owner didn't like the Fab Four)!!
Yep ... coulda/shoulda/woulda but didn't, 'cuz, by the time I came back to the store after shopping, it was gone!
Daddy had a whole mess of 78s, and gave many of 'em away. One of them was from a country artist he didn't recognize, but, to him, didn't sound country, anyway. Funny name, that ... "Hillbilly Cat"!

Hope, I LOVE your recipes, and THIS one hit home BIG-time! My sister, Mary, usedta make the pinwheels
JUST LIKE YOU DESCRIBED THEM (but without the chiles. Gave mama heartburn ...)! We didn't know how she made the little "wheelies" (my bros. and I called 'em), but I do NOW!!
Gonna try to make those this weekend (there's just me and the pets here. So that means they'll be beggin' for MY food ... godresttheirsoulswhentheyswallowmycooking).

Anyhow ... will catch up witchyawl in a libbit at th' blortee!!
