I received the sweetest, most chahmin’ soundin’ friendship request from somebody who wants to be my “soulmate” on one of the social networks I frequent yesterday. I was just so tickled pink (really I was seeing RED…grr-r-r-r-) to know this fella wants to be my soulmate and spend time and make memories with me that I just HAVE to share it with you…in hopes some of you who may stumble upon this Boomer’s blog and don’t know better, read this and don’t get so tickled pink yourselves if you receive one that you fall for it.

With the boom in online social networks and Baby Boomer online dating sites recently, these kind of friendship requests and messages are bound to BOOM, too. Most internet savvy people will recognize this ploy right off the bat. Unfortunately, there are some kind, sweet, generous, and innocent, but naive and gullible souls out there that have and will fall hook, line, and sinker for this junk and lose mega bucks if they haven’t already.
