Angela, you REALLLLLY know how to make a grown Relic cry, don’tcha?? Some of these were faves of folks down there in Pineville, and yakked over at Bo’s Barber Shop on Main Street for DAYS!
This is becomin’ my FAVORITE hang-out on this side of the info superhighway (swingin’ from the rockin’ vines in the Java Jungle)! We go hand-in-hand on this BOOMER thing!
Gotta add u to my site … already reffed this blog in my email signature (my regular email, which is therockrelic@yahoo.com) to friends, foes and bill collectors worldwide …
ROCK ON, FAB ONE!

Awww, here, have a tissue. Ya might as well take the box…there’s more to come.
Barber shops! Now those are almost relics, too, aren’t they?
What a nice compliment! Thank you!
Oh, if any bill collectors or foes come knockin’ and lookin’ fer ya, I’ll just tell ‘em yer vine boomed and ya went down in Boomer history. Friends…I’ll tell ‘em to check my blogroll.
DH’s Bettses are all in the midwest, but my Grandma was from the Greenville, SC area. I’m the only Suth’ner in this household.
Rockin’ on with the Doobie Brothers while hearing some “funky Dixieland” on iTunes.

I laughed so hard at these “intros” I almost peed myself. The one with THE FBI in color took me back to our old black and white TV and I remember thinking ” BUT WE DON’T HAVE COLOR!” My son has no clue what he has for entertainment…

ROFLOL! Here, sounds like you need a tissue or two, too. LOL!
Aren’t those a riot?! I had forgotten about some of the shows.
No, the kids his age and even my kids (20ish & early 30ish) don’t, do they? Take all the remotes away and see what happens. LOL! Remember? We had to get UP OFF THE COUCH and walk across the room to change the channel.

Hmmm…Ed, not sure what I can do IF I can do anything, BUT I do have an idea or two lighting bulbs above my head. Let me see if these ideas can produce any results or not. Please don’t get your hopes too high…my ideas are long-shots.
