Well, depends on what you think is a cool or the coolest Mother’s Day surprise a mother could receive. My Mother’s Day surprise, and I do mean a complete and total surprise to not only me but also DH, was a new Dodge Diesel truck with Jake Brakes!
Long story, major fiasco, thank God 2 grandkids, DH, and I are all still alive and well. To make a long story short, had an accident in TX while traveling home to Arkansas from Austin, TX on Mother’s Day. Our truck was sandwiched between another truck and an SUV. Radiator smashed. Not ONE rental car available for 4 days to get us home thanks to a well known individual visiting the area this week.
So, we traded the smashed truck for a newer model Dodge Diesel at Sam Nay’s Waco Dodge Sales in Waco, TX. After the sale was finalized our very helpful and really nice salesman, Jim Bihl, informed us we have Jake Brakes on the new Dodge Diesel. Hope I don’t get into any trouble using the noisy things.
