Have you seen or heard about the new digital picture frames that have recently hit the market? I first saw one of these on my hairdressers station in the salon. It looked like a very good quality picture frame with a picture of her grandson displayed in it. At first I wasn’t quite sure what was up with this frame when I realized the picture had changed while I wasn’t looking.
Sitting there in the chair while getting my hair done I was busy talking to my hairdresser and others in the salon so my gaze wasn’t constantly on the frame. Well, when I laid eyes on it the next time, it had a completely different picture displayed and I’m thinking, “I KNOW she didn’t pick that up and change that picture while I’m sitting here! HOW did the picture change?!”
Needless to say, I’m not the only one who was a little spooked initially by her digital frame. Seems other clients of hers reacted almost the same as I did. She’s having a lot of fun with it and enjoying the ability to display the pictures of her family she has taken with her digital camera without being limited to just one picture per frame and having to have LOTS of frames sitting around her station.
I’ve GOT to have one now and I’m admiring this 10 inch black digital picture frame at www.digitalframez.com. You also get a FREE 128 MB memory card with every 9 or 10 inch frame order.
*****UPDATE ON THE FOLLOWING CONTEST***** The winner is the lucky Miss Toni at www.inthemidstofthisseason.blogspot.com. Congratulations, Toni! (Funny lady…ya gotta go visit her.

Another way I just discovered to possibly get one is to enter the contest twin WAHM’s Susan and Janice are holding at their 5 Minutes for Mom blog. Run on over there and enter yourself. You have until 04/25/2007 12:30 PM Eastern time to enter.

I agree! I got my mom one of these for Christmas and she loved it. It did take a little time for her to figure out how to transfer the memory card in between her camera and frame, but other than that she picked it up really easily.
I am thinking about getting my grandmother one of those new WiFi digital frames. With those, you can upload images through the Internet without having to switch memory cards. That might be the way to go for older people who aren’t quite as tech saavy!
